Step 1: Fill in the personal dialog box with information either using easy steps or the forms method

Step 2: Fill in T4E.

i. Declare employment benefits in box 14

ii. Declare Taxable Tuition assistance in Box 20

iii. Declare Non-Taxable Assistance in box 21

Step 3: Check T1 General and make sure that the figure in Line 119 matches box 14. Make sure Line 256 matches box 21 on T4E.

Step 4: Make sure the figures on schedule 11 match the figures on your T4E for Tuition.
