Step 1: Fill in your personal information using the personal dialog box on Turbotax. This box contains information such as First name, Last Name, SIN number, DOB, etc. The dialog box for personal info may be accessed using the forms method. However, one may also use Easy Steps to access the same dialog box.

Step 2: Access the dialog box using the forms method to fill in information for dependents.
i. Make sure you select YES for an eligible dependent for the drop-down menu on the dialog box!
ii. Fill in personal information for your dependent such as First Name, Last name etc on the "DEPENDENT INFORMATION" dialog box...
iii. Fill in the Net Income for the dependent
iv. Select YES for the drop-down menu on the dialog box if the dependent has some sort of physical disability or impairment.
v. Select YES for the drop-down menu if you have a signed statement for the dependent from a medical practitioner. This statement is Part B of your form T2201 - Disability Tax Credit Certificate. Next, you must fill in Part A of the T2201 - Disability Tax credit certificate on behalf of the dependent.

Step 3: Check the figures for Line 304 on T1 General to make sure they are accurate. Line 304 is the amount for an eligible dependent...
